Ann-Marie Kirby is a Senior Manager within the department of Clinical and Medical Quality at the headquarters of GlaxoSmithKline Vaccines in Belgium. She has 17 years of experience in Quality Assurance, ranging across GMP, GLP, GVP and GCP. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK in 2001, Ann-Marie has worked in Consumer Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals and Vaccines industries in a variety of roles including Quality Auditing, Quality Control Laboratory Management, Lean Manufacturing Transformation and Pharmacovigilance Management.
Claire Pope is currently Director, Global Head of Clinical Quality Assurance for Seqirus based in the UK. Her responsibilities include design and execution of global audit programmes and quality oversight of Seqirus’s clinical development pipeline. She has spent her career in clinical quality compliance roles within the pharmaceutical industry having previously worked for ICON Clinical Research, AstraZeneca and SmithKline Beecham. Claire has a degree in Physiology from the University of Sheffield.
Sophie Gilles is a Team Leader in the Clinical Quality Assessment unit at Sanofi Pasteur in France. Since 2015, she manages a team of GCP auditors based in Europe and Asia Pacific whose mission is to provide expertise in GCP quality / compliance, execute the audit program, lead and coordinate GCP regulatory inspections by health authorities. She has 19 years’ experience in Clinical Quality Assurance as a senior GCP auditor and 14 years in the Monitoring of international clinical trials.
