DRIVE is searching for new collaborators for the next influenza season – join us to develop robust tools to measure influenza vaccine effectiveness

The DRIVE project for brand-specific influenza vaccine effectiveness studies will be presented at the ECCMID conference in Madrid, Spain on 21-24 April 2018.

DRIVE (Development of Robust and Innovative Vaccine Effectiveness) aims to create a European platform for brand-specific influenza vaccine effectiveness studies and to develop a governance model for scientifically independent and transparent studies in a public-private partnership. In DRIVE, data from several national or regional study sites will be jointly analysed to obtain a large geographical coverage and sufficient sample size for brand-specific IVE estimation.

DRIVE is searching for new collaborators for the influenza season 2018/19. National and regional public health institutes, academic institutions and others with the capacity to perform influenza vaccine effectiveness studies are invited to join the DRIVE network.

Participants to the ECCMID conference are welcome to learn more about DRIVE and to join the discussion in the conference’s meeting room A9-13 on Saturday, 21 April 2018, 14.00–15.00.
